Spicy Chicken Strips

Ingredients:







1 cup buttermilk



1½ tbsp hot pepper sauce



1 tsp salt



½ tsp black pepper, divided



1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into ¾ inch strips



¾ cup panko bread crumbs



½ tsp salt



¼ tsp hot pepper, or to taste



1 tbsp olive oil





Direction:



Put the buttermilk, hot sauce, salt and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper in shallow bowl. Add chicken strips and refrigerate for at least two hours. Put bread crumbs, salt, remaining black pepper and hot pepper in another bowl; Add and stir the oil.



Remove the chicken strips from the marinade and discard the marinade. Put the strips, few at the same time, to the crumb mixture. Press the crumbs to the strips to achieve a uniform and firm cover.



Put half of the strips in single layer inside the basket. Cook at a temperature of 350°F for 12 minutes. Cook the rest when the first batch is cooked.
